Interface Usability

Question: What is use ofinterface usability. Answer: Introduction: The Usability interface is the way to access any website or any application. Interface usability is that which provide the access to the user to access any application. This project is considering as online medical device shopping and health service website is developing. As, it is a Public website, our main areas of specifications for developing a website would be to attract customers worldwide and to position their medical practice on the top of the web search engines by implementing appropriate SEO techniques in the future (Aungst, 2013). This website is creating for the help of the customers to make them available all the medical services at very less prices. As Cerner is the medical company which provides all the medical facilities. Cerner is the health information technology center which has founded in 1979 in America (Balkman Loehfelm, 2014). Objective: Our main objective would be to connect with worldwide audiences and supply them the best quality medical devices, services and facilities, formerly affiliated with the American health information technology center Cerner. By taking advantage of the unlimited opportunities to in the health care communities, we would be customizing our website and personalizing our customer service and our public medical services as well. The best exemplar through which we demonstrated our skills and knowledge about the coding and designing of a proper web design to the online world was our first website development project. We created an artistic website for the health information technology company, Cerner. We carefully investigated and designed the required website by the following our clients descriptions about the project that required creating: Structure: Idea Project Design Programming Content Testing SEO Management Advertising Success Target: The target of this website is to make available the best medical facilities to our customers. The patient can ask for any medical service. Our target is to provide all the medical equipment online to our respected patrons. The people can get an assessment on request. The customers can ask any of queries from our specialist through this website. They will answer them in the very satisfactory way. Our primary target is to provide the solution to the patients and to make an online purchasing available of all the medical devices. Output: In this project, a website is developing into the health information technology center. This website will be available for the online purchasing of all the medical devices. Who want to place an order they can place the order according to their demand. An online payment order is also available here. The people can purchase the online medical equipment and can choose the online or offline mode of payment. This website provides a hassle free user interface to the customers (Lupton Jutel, 2015). Success criteria: To create the online website for shopping or medical consultancy service, there are some important factors for the success criteria. Forced registration of the users should be avoided. The advertisement and the promotions our product should be designed carefully (Hwang et al., 2014). All the features of the items should be well described. So, all the features of our medical equipment are described in brief (Rose Dhandayudham (2014). Design Aims: The following strategies should be needed to implement in order to develop an appropriate website complying with your business criteria: Creating an e-commerce plan: This step requires researching upon products or services to display, corresponding to the target market. It also deals with identifying the proper medical business model with deciding on e-commerce business policies and this medical center's website name as well (Brewer et al., 2013). Purchasing a domain: This step deals in deciding on a domain name with the initials related to that of the medical center name and hosting. It also includes in choosing pricing model and setting up of a business bank account. Specifying website details: This is the third step in designing an e-commerce website as relevant to the medical center (Cerner), which deals with creating an appropriate e-commerce website design. It also deals in specifying the descriptions of the services and facilities being provided by this center (Sarasohn-Kahn, 2013) Handling online reservation: This is the fourth step that requires choosing from given methods for implementing an online order placing system for any device in the medical center. Promotion: By implementing an appropriate marketing plan to promote this medical center online through networking websites. Outline of proposed design: Creating database for the employees including production team of the devices, doctors, management staff, and others involved with this health technology center including the customers. Creating a database for the types of equipment, service facilities, and other related information as relevant to our health center. The front servlet page should be replete with quality information regarding the health related issues and our way of treating the same. Linking the data to the servlet page for displaying to our end users. Creating a dashboard on the front page itself, this should be including the services being provided by our center namely medical equipment and the online consultant service (Chang et al., 2013). The page should also contain the image of the devices, prices and other related activities. The data should be updated daily. Hence, the web design should be user-friendly for the system administrators to edit the database Features: The main features that should be present in the first page of our website would be: User Registration Medical Guidelines Medical Devices Online purchasing options Functionalities: Our website is designed as it includes proper image maps and navigation buttons such that valuable information can be accessed just with a single click. Some other features include: A responsive design with a unique code and URL such that to work efficiently. Publishing to social networking sites for promoting our website Emergency alerts for signifying the latest health threat and providing awareness of the same in the mass. Calendars for promoting our events Allowing patients to communicate with our specialist online Online purchase option to purchase any device Maintenance: Content Management System or CMS is a web-based application that enables multiple users of an online company in providing the different authentication levels in order to manage the data, information, or content related to online project or applications so it is very helpful to create our website. For our project (website for Cerner), we would be using the Word Press CMS in order to improve our e-commerce activities. This application will help in providing effective plug-in, which would be fulfilling our basic online needs, for example: Creating, editing and publishing our web pages, articles, and blogs related to medical science and healthcare and medical device. Adding and editing the description and specification of prices and photos related to our products and services. SEO and analytics: It is the communication with the search engine regarding our intentions such that the search engines, upon relevant searches by the users, could recommend our website. In order to implement the SEO such that the search engines refer our website to our users, the following criteria, relevant to our website, should be considered: Content: The contents of our website are related to the information related to public health and medical devices. Thus, our website should be referred to the users whenever they search for the health related topics. Performance: The search engines look for the performance related issues and as we are utilizing a responsive design for our website, we would be getting the attention of the search engines through our easy to use and smooth UI. Authority: As we are publishing quality health information developed by our publishing partner, Cerner (health information technology center) providing the solution for the health related issues and the medical equipment, our content, being relevant to the real world, would be promoted and referenced by the search engines. Proposed Evaluation Methods: To provide the usability interface to the users, the use of waterfall model has used. A waterfall model is used to design this website of the medical industry. Iterative design is prescribed for to promote usability during the whole development lifecycle. The method of evaluation can be used at all the stages of the development lifecycle which is helpful to verify the interface usability of the designed website. This is known as iterative design. A top-down approach is used in this project to design the project (Lupton, 2013). In this, all the requirements and designs defined well. This is the method of re-testing so by using prototypes to verify the designed application against usability interface. Waterfall model is the consistent in the real nature of design. So by using iterative design in a waterfall model, this project is evaluated (O'Cearbhaill, 2014). Main Use Cases: The customers will use the website to make the online shopping of medical devices. The main level of the use cases is view items, purchasing option and placing the order after registration. If a customer wants to view the items then the customer will access to the view part. If the customer wants to place the order then the online purchasing option is available here. A UML Use case for this website development is used in this project.: User Experience: As we would be designing our website in respective of the easy-to-use UI for our users, they will not have any difficulty to access the information from our website. This enhanced UI technique would fully satisfy our users. So users can easily place the order for any medical equipment (Kacen et al., 2013). Analytics: Analytics in the website designing is the tool, which helps us in determining the conversion rates, number of this monitor, track, and compare the web pages based on the same. It also includes the tracking of the following criteria of our website (Llach et al., 2013). Counting on the site visits and page loads Monitoring the loyalty of the visitors Duration of visits and conversion rates of our pages Monitoring keywords and traffic at any instant Conclusion: Thus, the project deals with providing details about the web design related to the public medical device needs. It also helps in providing the details about the implementation of the project including the estimation of the project costs and milestones in designing the website. Reference: Aungst, T. D. (2013).
